I would like to know when (approximate is ok) the next beta release will be for testers? I will be reconfiguring my pc to open up 40g partition for Vista and Office 2007 pro and change XP SP2 to another location on second drive. I can not reload my Sony based XP home over Vista-sony partitioning software will not open. I will be moving everything from 2nd hard drive and wiping it clean for the xp install and then wiping the primary 40g drive for Vista and Office 2007 pro. This will clean up the triple boot I have right now (XP-5381-5384)-I prefer to do it all at once.

Next Beta Release for testers
Not specified yet, BETA 2 is here, download or order the DVD. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Andre-If you noticed in my post I already have 5384 and 5381-I wanted to know when the next comes to us beta testers-not next public release- the public release was approximately on schedule as the normal beta release to testers. There is also a bug in this forum-it kept saying error submitting post try again later-that is why there are three post from me on this subject.

Be sure to file a bug against Vista Mail or the Vista Help and Support Center about this behavior.

The Next Release is Release Candidate 1 which is currently due out on August 15th, 2006.
P.S. There will be No More Interim Releases as the Private Beta is Officially Over, Just FYI.

"There will be No More Interim Releases as the Private Beta is Officially Over, Just FYI" Totally FALSE The private or Technical Beta is very much alive.
Please post the source for this misinformation.

"...do to Severe Private Beta Tester Inactivity..." Apparently said by someone with little or no understanding of the scope of Microsoft Beta programs in general and Windows Vista Beta specifically.
I asked before but I will ask again. What is your source? Please post it.

I plan a big formating change when the next beta is released to testers. My Sony based XP Home will not open partitioning software over Vista so I need to wipe the drives clean and start fresh and I want to do it when the next beat is released so I am doing one less install. (have triple working boot-XP-5381-5384)
There will be no more Interim Releases as: The Private Beta has been Superseded by the Public Beta, just FYI.
